Weeks before a new product was to be announced, a customer realized they had placed PUI Audio’s magnetic product directly over a trace that was sensitive to magnetic interference. We explored possible solutions, even though it meant overcoming an inherent characteristic of our product, even going so far as to hire an independent consultant to explore possible solutions.
Operating on good faith, and due to the customer’s reluctance to share product details, PUI Audio spent time and manpower resolving an issue related to — but not caused by — our product. In the end, the customer changed their software to mask the issue and went on to a successful product launch and sales beyond expectations.
