On January 27th, 2003 the European Union passed the “Restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment”. Commonly known as “RoHS” legislation 2002/95/EC, the law became effective on July 1st, 2006.
In compliance, PUI Audio has phased out non-RoHS products from our offering. All non-RoHS products changed to a special status on September 30th, 2006 in order to adhere to the EU RoHS 2002/95/EC deadline. PUI Audio no longer accepts orders for non-RoHS products.
